Humble Be is all about flowers and bees, overpopulation and thoughts on reproduction as a purpose of life from the biological evolution perspective.

This track is a mix of some quite tricky riffing, jazz vibey chorus and completely idiotic freak circus c-part with guitar solo "battle". In the verse can be heard the rush and feeling after poking bees nest with a stick and the riff tries to mimic the sound of a bee in a way as well. Also own interpretation of the famous "Flight Of The Bumblebee" is included, which in this case ends up in flyswatter.

The text is trying to find an answer to the "meaning of life" question from evolutionary instinct to reproduce, whether it was a pollinating bee or human overpopulating the Earth, and is wondering if the phrase "multiple and fill the Earth" has been taken too literally, especially in this case as human himself is the one who wrote that in the story. Also rush is present in the text as bees as well as human are trying to spread their seeds as fast and wide as possible, fulfilling the evolutionary reproduction instinct. Finally in the c part the crowd of clowns concludes:

"...this sold out freak show
full of tamed clowns
species unknown
the clowns will change
the circus stays the
same story unicycled
by juggler without thumbs
hung on tightrope, applause"

The thumblessness here refers to the importance of thumbs for human in its development and is stating if the thumbs weren't there, maybe human was not so superior in comparison to the other species after all. Despite the huge human brain, which will be mocked by, of course, a whale in the next song.

Humble Be kertoo kukista ja mehiläisistä, ylikansoittumisesta sekä ajatuksista lisääntymisestä elämän tarkoituksena evoluutiobiologisesta perspektiivistä.

Kappale on sekoitus koukeroista riffiä, jazzmaista kertosäettä ja totaalisen idioottimaista friikkisirkus-c-osaa sisältäen kitarasoolo-"battlen". Säkeistössä voi kuulla kiireen tunnun sen jälkeen kun on tökkinyt kimalaispesää kepillä ja riffi koittaakin jollain tavalla matkia kimalaista. Kappale sisältää myös oman tulkinnan kuuluisasta "Kimalaisen lennosta", joka tässä tapauksessa päättyykin kärpäslätkään.

Teksti yrittää etsiä vastausta kysymykseen elämän tarkoituksesta evolutiivisesta lisääntymisvietistä, olipa kyseessä sitten pölyttävä kimalainen tahi maata ylikansoittava ihminen, ja pohtii onkohan lause "lisääntykää ja täyttäkää maa" otettu liian kirjaimellisesti, erityisesti tässä tapauksessa kun ihminen on itse kirjoittanut kyseisen tarinan. Myös kiire on läsnä tekstissä kun niin kimalaiset kuin ihminenkin yrittävät levittää siementään niin nopeasti ja laajalle kuin mahdollista, toteuttaen vain evolutiivista lisääntymisviettiään. Lopulta c-osassa joukko sirkuspellejä toteaa:

"...this sold out freak show
full of tamed clowns
species unknown
the clowns will change
the circus stays the
same story unicycled
by juggler without thumbs
hung on tightrope, applause"

Tässä peukalottomuus viittaa peukaloitten tärkeyteen ihmisen kehityksen kannalta ja tarkoittaa, että jos peukaloita ei olisi, ehkä ihminen ei olisikaan niin ylivoimainen muihin lajeihin verrattuna. Huolimatta valtavista ihmisaivoista, joita seuraavassa kappaleessa pilkkaa tietysti valas.
